The KFC Corporation is based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was founded as Kentucky Fried Chicken by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952. KFC claims to be the world's most popular chicken restaurant chain serving about 8 million people a day. This number is based upon the presence of over 11,000 restaurants acroos the world.
Sometimes KFC can be found next to popular sister restaurants such as Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, A&W, All-American Food™, and Long John Silver's. A typical KFC employee sells chicken in many forms such as wraps, salads and burgers through with specialities known as the Original Recipe®, Extra Crispy™, Twister® and Colonel's Crispy Strips® chicken with homestyle sides.
